Galería RGR is pleased to present Anomalous Galaxies, Ding Yi's first solo exhibition in Latin America. The exhibit comprises ten paintings elaborated between 2020 and 2021, which belong to his series "Appearance of Crosses". The title of the exhibition referes to an homonymus text developped especially by the curator, critic and art historian Cuauhtémoc Medina for a publication accompanying the exhibit. Ding Yi's works are presented as reflection objects on what shapes us as subjects in the world; they reveal the neatness of his techinque and the constant investigation in his process of creation, developing an own system.
