Galería RGR participated in ZONA MACO 2020.
In this edition Galería RGR -continuing with our theoretical and formal interest in Gemoetric Abstraction- we chose a selection of relevant artists from the contemporary scene, such as: Elias Crespin, Magdalena Fernández, Patrick Hamilton, Jeppe Hein, Omar Ibañez, Paul Muguet, Felipe Pantone, Diego Pérez, Wolfram Ullrich, Ding Yi, Ji Zhou; whose plastic concerns dialogue with the work of great masters of modern art such as: Carlos Cruz-Diez, Julio Le Parc, Jesús Soto and Oswaldo Vigas.
In addition to our main booth in ZONA MACO, we presented a special project with Felipe Pantone in FORO -the new section of the fair curated by Anna Goetz- which seeks to put in dialogue different voices of contemporary art. The artist has consolidated a work that achieves a continuous reflection on the visual construction of the digital world; the vitality of his work has placed him as an indispensable voice in the artistic field. Here we presented a selection of pieces from the Subtractive Variability series, where Pantone demonstrates the chromatic phenomena by combining the colors yellow, magenta, and cyan.
