The Center for Contemporary Art (UCCA) with new headquarters in Shanghai, presented the list of artists' names, who will be part of the exhibition entitled City on the Edge: Art and Shanghai at the Turn of the Millennium. The show contains the artistic work of the main figures of contemporary art, among which the participation of the artist Ding Yi stands out.
Through this exhibition it is sought to give a thoughtful look about the economic and cultural boom that has developed in Shanghai in the last years. The artists seek to explore the notion of understanding the experimental spirit that underlies the current position in this city is reaffirmed at the forefront of China's global art scene.
The exhibition will be available until July 11, 2021.
