Würzburg, Germany, 1961.
Ullrich creates wall reliefs and artifacts that dilute the boundaries between sculpture and painting from a synthesis of tradition and innovation. Wolfram works with a formal vocabulary based on geometric abstract art, whose origins go back to Constructivism. His production gives an eloquent testimony of the vitality and complexity of constructivist art in our time, as they share the clarity and rigor of their formal language, which avoids any type of ornament or dimension. Tight angles and clearly defined shapes dominate his compositions.
Wolfram Ullrich currently lives and works in Stuttgart, Germany.
